Just been reading about Paul in Acts and find myself mulling over the disconnect between my experience of Christianity and the early church experience. There is something attractive about stepping outside of the middle class comforts and risking a little... I felt this tug recently through an encounter with Operation Mobilisation's Doulos ship, which involves 300+ volunteers who sail around the world sharing Christ's love.
