First of all let me apologise. These are lyrics from a “Pussycat dolls” song that is being played on the radio at the moment and does not represent [...]

Tim Costello (CEO of World Vision) is quoted in this article as saying; “There are 700,000 not-for-profit organisations and the latest fad today is under-30s wanting to start their own not-for-profit equivalent of what in my day was starting a rock band.”

There is a new mission agency on the block and their stuff is excellent!
Although GIA (Global Interaction) sounds like an insurance company they are actually the rebadged and revamped ABMS (Australian Baptist Mission Society). Its not often a rebranding comes off so well, but I have to say I am really [...]

For what seems like ages I have been pondering how frequently we should read the Bible. The simple answer is every day; which sounds compelling but runs the risk of falling into legalism. Transform 08 is coming up, it’s SU’s key training event for the year.
It’s high quality, inspirational, practical and good fun.
A personal transformation with God being the centre is always a swell thing! A transformation where we can pass on what we have learnt to encourage, lead and empower others is even greater. And [...]
